Don't do this surgery until you are over 19...your eyes are still growing and chances are your vision will get worse before then. -1.25 is not that bad (even though it may seem like it), so just wait a few years for your eyes to settle.

i just done it last week.. the new system is different, they dont cut it with a blade nomore, they cut it with a laser... it is much safer now, i was done in 8 min each eye... whole surgery went for about 20 min... been 1 week i still dont have 20/20 vision.... kinda geting worried now

avoid seafood??? what is that for? I remeber when I got this, it was quite painful. I wasnt expecting pain because the doctor told me there was no pain. But it hurt like hell. And I really had to stuggle to hold my eye still for the laser. Afterwards, it took a very long time before my eye felt normal again, like 6 months. But it was worth it. I wish I had done it 10 years earlier.
